Group plastic surgery allows you to share a consult with friends or family members for the cost of a single consult. The more members in the group the less each pay for a consult. Should 2 or more members of the group decide to go ahead with surgery each is discounted for the surgery price and if surgery takes place on the same day the operating room fees will also be discounted. The amount of the discount depends on the number of procedures performed and the number of people in the group. Depending on the type of procedures and the number of members in a group the surgical procedures may have to be performed on different days. If the group is large enough and all are getting breast implants the implant costs can be discounted by the implant manufacturers.

The group approach allows you to undergo surgery more economically than if you go solo without compromising safety or results or taking chances with steeply discounted surgery offered by surgeons who cut corners. There really is strength in numbers and the social support and encouragement of friends or relatives undergoing and recovering from surgery at the same time can make your recovery smoother and quicker.

This is what entities like Groupon say they will deliver but cannot because the middle men costs involved in advertising and implementing such a program force the surgeon to cut corners.
